Brawley City Council Candidates Discuss Issues At Forum
The political season in Brawley kicked off last night with a forum for candidates for two seats on the Brawley City Council.
The three candidates are Toni Carrillo, who works for Campesinos Unidos; Sam Couchman, who heads up the Workforce Development program for Imperial County, and Miguel Miranda, who is a case manager with the Department of Corrections. The three got a chance to discuss their qualifications, and the issues facing the City of Brawley before a crowd of about 60 people at the Hidalgo Center in Brawley.
